The beginnings of DOOR date back to 1981 in the Netherlands. Provision and delivery of workshops, training venues and seminars for employees of organisations, government institutions and state administration have endured to be the core business of our company until the present day.
DOOR was developing in the Netherlands until 1992, but subsequent years brought about its dynamic international growth marked by several key landmarks.
1992 - DOOR opens its first operations across Europe, including Poland.
1996 - DOOR International is acquired by Hughes Aircraft System International to deliver training seminars - also for clients of Hughes Inc.
1997 - Raytheon, the world's leader in training system integration acquires shares in DOOR International. Operating offices in 66 countries world-wide, DOOR International becomes a truly global training organisation.
1998 - DOOR Poland opens its offices in Gdansk, Wroclaw, Cracow and Poznan. With 25 consultants and professional trainers, DOOR Poland becomes the no 1 training company on the market, delivering over 2,000 training days a year.
2002 - DOOR Poland becomes a partner of FranklinCovey, opens its office in Poland and launches FranklinCovey's training programmes on the local market.
2004 - Door International buys EuroSite from Raytheon. EuroSite is the number one training and "Experiential Learning Centre" in Europe. Designed and built in compliance with the most equipped installations for 260 people and overall solutions adapted to each customer's organization, needs and requirements.
